再談空拍機攝影 (More on the drone photography)

前言:無人遙控飛行器(UAV)是近年來科技界最火紅的產品,拜數位電腦科技蓬勃的發展和進步,它已是未來許多行業發展須倚仗的器具如高空資料收集、電塔檢查、農牧業生產、休閒娛樂、攝影等等,

因此相關的限制及法規目前已日漸完備來管理無人遙控飛行器的各種活動,但國內這領域並未普及,其中最主要的原因是設備的價格昂貴且如操作不當容易發生墜落,可能造成人員、生畜傷亡的危險,因此對無人遙控飛行器的充分了解和不斷的飛行練習是初學者唯一能防止意外的守則,上一篇 空拍機攝影部落格已討論了為何要使用無人遙控飛行器及有關使用目的、器材、學習和安全法規等,現在進一步說明在操作無人遙控飛行器時必須注意和實際的一些過程。

 many authorities have also set the relative mandates on the drone flying, but in some area the drone flying is still not popular, because of its cost and possible harm to the life or animals when crash, so a thorough knowledge and keep practicing are the only target for the beginners, now I would like to describe my practical experience in this blog.

選擇目的一般會操作無人遙控飛行器不外駕駛的樂趣或拍攝照片及影片,因此如果要享受遙控飛行的樂趣應選擇價位較高、飛行功能較多並附有防摔功能的機種如DJI,但如須要拍攝高畫質照片或影片時則相機是選擇的重點,而不須太多飛行的功能如飛行距離、高度、時間或防摔等如Gopro Karma,其他如要用於職業用途則須更高價位、更多功能的機種如DJIinspire等,以上提到的廠牌是目前市場上佔有率較高的機種,但由於近年來無人遙控飛行器蓬勃的發展,市場上仍有許多其他各式各樣的產品。

Purpose of the usage: Normally flying a drone are for taking video footage or still photos or just enjoy the remote control flying, if you want to enjoy the RC flying, the better choice are the higher prices models of more flying functions such as flying height and long distance with anti-crash sensors and etc., then DJI or other similar brands are for this purpose, but if you want to take high quality footage or photos, the camera is the priority ,then Gopro karma is your choice, which it offers not much extreme functions like heightdistance and power duration like DJI inspire etc., the brands what I mentioned are the major products in the market for the moment, but as the booming needs in the market, there are already many other competitors presented.

經驗個人使用空拍機主要是用於空拍影像,因此選擇GoproKarma,同時也是在它大幅降價停止生產退出市場時才買的,原則上Karma是一架設計精密結構堅固的飛行器,對初學者來說它是相對的簡單容易學習,它是一個套裝的產品包括Gopro相機、影像穩定器、飛行器本體、螺旋槳、影像穩定器握把、充電器、背包等,附帶的背包可將飛行時所須要的主、配件整合在裡面,方便攜帶具有非常高的機動性,Karma飛行器最吸引我的是它有配備銀幕的遙控器,不須外接手機或平板來顯示飛行狀況,Karma軟硬體組合也很完備,在決定結束生產時更新的軟體版本已大幅降低摔機情況,反而促使官方二手更新機種的銷售,它最大的缺點是外形體積大不方便出國攜帶,優點是兩用的Gopro相機和影像穩定器可裝在空拍機或手持的握把上,傑出的影像穩定器在空中或地面拍攝時,即使劇烈的震動都不影響拍攝的畫面,搭配的Gopro 相機Hero6經幾代的改良是目前市場上最暢銷的小型運動攝影相機,非常適合裝在空拍機拍攝,除了可在空中拍攝不同視角的照片外,在拍攝影片的內容上可結合空中、水底及地面各種不同視角的內容增加影片的故事性,Karma不同於其他遙控飛行器著重在飛行功能而是著重在拍攝影像。

Operating: I bought the Gopro Karma just by chance when I want to take aerial photos, Gopro offered a nearly 2 thirds of the original price when they stopped the production and renewed the software (the new version wipes out nearly all the crashes) end of 2017, the karma drone is a very well build and high technique device, it is relatively easy and comfortable to operate for the beginners, the total package of this offer including: hero6gimbalsdronegripchargerbackpackspare propeller etc., the backpack is specially designed to pack all parts needed for flying, and its most attracting point is the controller with its own display, that makes the maneuver more compact, the communication between drone and controller is smooth, specially the last updated software version which serves nearly no crash anymore, that even booming the sales of the refurbished models, but the big “cons” is the drone size which is not easy to bring abroad, the “pros” are Gopro gimbals grip that can stabilize the video contents even in the strong wind or wild movement of drone, the hero6 camera produces high quality footages, so you can shoot a story telling footage from airon the ground or in the water with all the different prospects, my opinion to karma is it is a versatile platform specially for photography but not for the hobby of just flying.

結語初學者對遙控設備都不免有操作上的恐懼,但在經過不斷練習和實作了解各種可能的危險因素後,無人遙控飛行器的飛行是相對安全的,以下幾點注意事項提供有興趣者參考:

  1. 出發前將飛行器及控制器的電池充飽。
  2. 找一寬廣無障礙物的地點來起飛和降落。
  3. 飛行時必須要獲得充足的全球定位系統(GPS)訊號。
  4. 必須選擇好的天候條件包括:天氣、溫度、風速、風向、降雨率、能見度、可見衛星數、電磁干擾(Kp)(*)等。
  5. 飛行器離地後應先在低空盤旋並檢查操縱桿功能。
  6. 不要超越飛行器的功能限制如距離、高度及電力等。
  7. 如發生控制器訊號受到干擾或切斷時應立即啟動回航並選擇手動操作。

End words: There are always a scaring mood when flying drone for the beginners, but after more and more practice and see the dangerous factors, the drone flying is relatively save comparing to some other activities, I have my experience on safely flying a drone as the follows:

  1. Let all batteries fully charged both drone and controller before starting.
  2. Find a broad area without obstacle for launching and landing.
  3. Getting enough GPS signals locked during fling.
  4. Try to fly with a good environment conditions including: wind、temperature、 weather condition、visibility、visible satellites and magnetic interference (Kp value) (*),
  5. After taking-off let drone hovering for a while to see the stability and check the function of the controlling sticks.
  6. Do not push the drone limits such as distanceheight and power etc,.
  7. If there are any interfere or lost connection between drone and controller launching the come-back procedure immediately and fly back manually.
