LAB彩色空間修圖法 (Lab Color Mode Adjustment)

最近在整理一些我過去幾年旅遊的影像包括北美和挪威北極等地區,主要整理一些風景的影像,將這些影像以一種更細緻的風貌呈現,過去在Lightroom的後製修飾其實已有很多功能可運用,使影像呈現更多元更藝術化的內容,來彌補拍攝時相機記錄的不足(包括曝光、色彩、白平衡等),Adobe Lightroom 是 Adobe公司發展的軟體提供職業攝影師以簡潔、快速的程式來達到處理大量影像的目的,最新版本更提供不同的筆刷局部修飾功能,使攝影師發揮創意修飾出更吸引人的影像,Adobe Lightroom是對整張影像的修飾有其速成的效果,但影像內個別”畫素”(Pixel)的顏色深淺和光線強弱、對比等等只能做一種總和式的調整,其中如色彩的調整無可避免的會影響亮暗對比,相同的如光線亮暗的調整也會影響色彩的飽和等,因此在整理過去影像的過程中,發現有些影像畫面應能更進一步展現其拍攝當時視覺上的實際色彩和明暗狀況,此時就須思考對影像中每個畫素(Pixel)的修飾,因此本篇的內容將說明以Adobe Photoshop 的Lab色彩模式即”色彩及明暗分離“的方法來修飾,展現出更精緻美麗的影像內容,其中的技巧包括Lab色域、色彩混和合器、圖層混合器及亮度/色彩圖層混和器等。

Recently I worked on some images that I took  some years ago during my travels, they are mainly the landscape images, to give those photos more delicate appearance, although the post processing in Lightroom make them already turning out to be in a good form which compensates the deficit from the camera capture (such as exposure、colors and white balance etc.),  Lightroom is an image fixing software of Adobe which can be easily managing a great amount of images in a short time, including category and development of the images adapted by many professional photographers, the current edition Lightroom CC providing some advanced function like radial graduating and local adjusting brushes, that photographer can be more creative in the post processing work flow. For already proper exposure images it will be quick and easy to adjust and fix, becoming more effectively in handling great amount of images, but for the tonal value and color contrast between pixels, the adjustment in the Lightroom can run into an interfere between tonal value and color contrast, for example when adjusting tonal value might increase or decrease the color contrast, on the contrary, when adjusting color contrast will also interfere the tonal value become darker or lighter, for a better enhancing those images which can be more reflecting the true tonal value and color contrast on the scene, we need to improve them by pixels in Photoshop, now I would like to explain in this blog about how to use Photoshop “Lab” trick to separate the tonal value and color contrast when enhancing, it includes” Lab color mode”、”channel mixer”、”layer blending modes” and” layer style blending option”etc..

Model 棚拍(Studio Portrait)_Gloria_2

本月的例拍活動再度邀約Gloria當我的model,本次的拍攝嘗試以棚燈的恆定燈而非閃燈來作為主燈,同時搭配閃燈為背景燈,另外也繼續上次的以玻璃窗為背景道具,這次將玻璃窗轉90度並以大光圈的淺景深拍攝,另外是古典的3燈禮服人像攝影。

This time is my monthly model shooting and fortunately Gloria again has time for me among her busy career, this time I use modeling light of the strobe as the main light, and mixing flash as the background, this time again use the window glass as the prop but turning toward to the camera, with wide open exposure for a soft head shoot, the third one is the classical evening gown portrait.

挪威島嶼極光之旅行前(Before the “Norway’s Lofoten Islands” Tour)

家父於去年(2016)過世因此2017並未安排任何遠程的旅遊攝影,在2018年起將恢復我每年2-3次的遠程探險旅遊攝影,首先要開始的是在北緯70度左右的挪威Lofoten極地列嶼,此次是參加由”Joseph Van Os” 的攝影團隊舉辦的探險攝影,行程是我一直非常喜歡的極地地理風貌,那是一種空曠、廣闊、線條簡單、渾然天成的自然景色,尤其是鋸齒型的峽灣和高聳的岩石山川,而在其中經常能發現美麗、色彩精緻和外型優美的花卉或植被,大多是纖細小巧的花朵,色彩繽紛引人入勝,這次要去的Lofoten島列是自然地理景觀的攝影勝地,也是北極光頻繁出現的地方。

My father passed away in last October, the year of 2017 will have no schedule for me for the long distance travel as the tradition, so the time of 2017 will be the preparation for the future tour , in the beginning of the year 2018 I will join the “Joseph Van Os” team for the expedition of the Norway’s Lofoten Islands,

再度邀請Gloria當我的model,經過兩次的拍攝合作,有關服裝和model的pose等需求,雙方已能有較好的互動,她自己也準備許多合身的服裝,使我能感覺到model的專業,因為服裝合身對更能顯現體型的優美,對整個影像有加分的效果

This is the third time I asked again Gloria as my model, we can more naturally cooperate between clothing and posing, she prepared some clothing match her figure and we can get better results also with some props.

相機CMOS感應器清潔(The Camera Sensor cleaning)

 

本篇介紹有關簡單的相機CMOS感應器清潔方法,很多攝影人一直以來都很困擾的問題就是如何清潔相機的CMOS感應器而不會損壞感應器,尤其在戶外頻繁更換鏡頭後經常在CMOS感應器上附著許多的髒污顆粒,一些較大肉眼可見的顆粒可用橡膠噴嘴將其噴除,但一些肉眼無法發現的微小顆粒即無法去除,因此後製時,在有淺色天空的影像上會有明顯的黑點,增加後製工作的困難及時間,一般人此時都會將相機送去代理商代為清潔,但如果只是要清除一些看不見的微小顆粒,其實只要有適當的工具可以在家輕鬆的DIY將之清除。

Today I like to talk about the simple and not complicated way of cleaning of the camera sensor, to clean the sensor by yourself is always a kind of headache to many photographers, one of the most is afraid of damaging the sensor, when you change frequently the lens on location, there are always some tiny dirt on the sensor, normally we can remove the dirt which can be seen, but not those can’t be examine by the eyes, on the post-processing you will see the spot dirt on the image with light sky on the pc, which will be more troublesome and time consuming, then many people will send the camera to the shop for cleaning, but for just those tiny dirt you are able to do the DIY cleaning with suitable tools.
