Model外拍(Location Portrait)_Li Ting

本星期再度是一位新的外拍model莉婷,是一位年輕的model工作認真配合度高,看的出來對model的工作很有興趣,對我未來的拍攝應可增加些新的題材,在台灣對我這個業餘的攝影人想要找一個願意配合且對拍照有興趣的model是蠻困難的,大部份應徵的都是些年青男女孩,在工作之餘或學業以外有空閒時想出來兼差賺些外快,另外是一些商業模特兒公司提供所謂的專業model但價格昂貴,因此有些應徵年青男女孩拍攝時無法在鏡頭前展現漂亮的姿態,只有真正從事或對model工作有興趣的人,才能真正在拍攝前的準備工作如化妝、服裝等作充分的規劃,在拍攝時流露出動人的姿態和美麗的影像。

This time I worked with a new model Li Ting, she is young and enthusing in modeling, I hope we can have more cooperation in the future, in Taiwan an amateur photographer like me is quite difficult to find a youngsters to be a model for the portrait shooting, most of them are part time job seekers, as to the professional models agent, the rate they charge you normally can’t imagined, so most of the time it isn’t easy to work with those part time seekers, in between the professional and them, only the enthusing models can be prepare them self before the shooting including make- up and clothing etc., and show their best poses afterward.

第一段:本段選擇有古典圖案裝飾的戲劇廳側面牆為背景,自然光在牆的左方,我將 莉婷安置於背對牆壁,主燈是用一棚燈加雷達盤來柔化光線,主燈放置的位置與自然光在同一方向,過去常為主燈放置的位置有所猶豫,是要與環境光同向或反方向無法取得一規則性的方案,但自從在網站上看到有名的婚紗攝影師Jared Platt對光線設置的說明後,解決了長久在外拍時自然光與人造光相互配合的迷思,並了解人造光線應是環境(自然)光線的延續,來達到畫面光線的自然美感,200瓦的棚燈在f/18光圈及ISO100時可與自然光的背景相互達到合協。

First section: The section I chose the side wall of the Opera House with the ancient pattern as the background, the ambient light was from the left side of the wall, I put a studio strobe with a beauty dish at the left of the model about 45 degree angle, which is at the same side of the ambient light, I sometimes hesitate to arrange the proper side of the light, but when I found some day on You Tube that the famous wedding photographer  Jared Platt who shows his lighting idea and explains the light wrapping and the extending of the ambient, I think it is the great idea for most of the portrait shooting, that can totally merging the strobe light and the ambient, so the 200watt strobe powered by the compact Pau C. Buff battery with the f/18 aperture and ISO 100 setting which get a very nature lighting image.

第二段:本段我們移到紀念堂的周圍長廊,此時陽光已較為柔合,用一150瓦閃燈的裸燈置於model左後方來模擬陽光,主燈部份由於長廊內的光線較暗為取得相互的協調在200瓦主燈裝上一28″的四方柔光罩,放置與模擬陽光閃燈的同方向,我將model安排在主燈的右邊呈45度角,用測光表測得的背景光線為f/4,因此將放置在model的左斜後方模擬陽光的150瓦的閃燈的強度定為f/4.5,突顯出model的頭、手臂及腿的自然光線,另與同方向主燈將光線延續至model的右邊,行成非常自然的畫面與環境融合而不突兀。

Second section: In this section we moved to the corridor along the wall, to match the soften ambient, I set a powerful 150W Quantum flash t5dr as a fill light behind the model at left mimicking the Sun light, the main light is a 200W strobe plus a 28″square soft box to match the darker ambient along the corridor, and set it at the same side as the fill light at an 45゚angle to the model allowing the light wrapping around the right side of the model, with Sekonic L-358 meter getting f/4 for the main and f/4.5 for the fill, the brighter fill draw a line along the model body, the total merging of two lights become a nature lighting.

第三段:此段的時間已接近夕陽,將背景選在園區的水池邊,使用一只Canon600 EX-RT閃燈加一26″八腳柔光罩為主燈置於model的左前方呈45度角,使光線柔和接近夕陽時分的陽光,另在model左後方與陽光同向放一只Canon 580EX-MK II閃光裸燈來加強並延續陽光,使畫面呈現自然的夕陽效果,model的深色洋裝在歌劇院的背景前襯托出美麗端莊,水池前大石塊上的拍攝呈現閃燈與環境光的完全融合,使觀賞者察覺不出人造光線的存在,是一個成功的打光模式。

Third section: This section we moved to the pond area as the background while it’s getting to the Sunset, a Canon 600 EX-RT plus a 26″ octobox are the main light 45゚angle to the model, the lighting is soft as to the Sun light, behind the model at the left side there is a Canon 580 EX-MK II bare flash for enhancing the Sunset lighting, the deep blue outfit on the model turns out to be elegant just matches the background of Opera House, I put the model on the rock by the pond, the soft lighting of the main light merging in the ambient shows a nature mode, and it is not obvious to the viewer that an artificial lighting joined, it was a good lighting set up .
